Warranty & Technical Support
What "Limited Parts Warranty" Means: This indicates that the warranty provided does not extend to every possible situation. There are situations that are excluded; therefore the warranty is “limited” rather than “unlimited”. No dealers we know of offer an “unlimited” warranty, because there are so many situations outside of our control.
We have a large, in-house parts and service department staffed with personnel experienced with just about any problem you may encounter. All machines rated A, B or C, along with all rebuilt coin mechs, validators (if offered), and rebuilt PC boards, carry a 90-day limited parts warranty.
For machines, this includes (but is not limited to) all components such as: changers, validators, refrigeration units (removable type, soda machines, etc.), motors, solenoids, logic boards, control boxes, and digital display units.
Replacement Parts & Defective Returns:
- Warranty replacement parts are shipped by USPS (First Class or Priority Mail only). We do not overnight replacement parts under any circumstances.
- All defective parts that have failed during the warranty period must be returned to us upon receipt of replacement parts.
Phone Support: Available free with your machine purchase for a period of one year from the day you bought your machine from us.
Support Hours: Phone support is only available Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
Labor Coverage Guidelines:
- Local Customers: If parts are needed, return the defective part within 90 days and we will gladly repair or replace it. We offer phone support for all labor issues for 90 days at no charge for walk-in store purchases, only if you return the machine to our shop for repairs.
- Online / Out-of-Area Purchases: Return the defective part within 90 days for repair or replacement, and enjoy free phone support for labor troubleshooting for 90 days. WE DO NOT COVER LABOR CHARGES IF YOU REQUIRE A TECHNICIAN AT YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. Because we send pinball and vending machines all over the world, we never send repair people to your location; we provide a parts-only warranty for remote customers.
The warranty does not cover the following situations and items:
- Display lamps (fluorescent or incandescent).
- Compressor units that fail must be returned to us for examination before replacement. If examination shows failure (due to a leak) resulting from user installation error, or bent/kinked tubing, it will not be replaced under warranty.
- Items marked or sold 'AS IS' or listed as such on our original invoice, with advance notification that the item carries no warranty.
- Acts of vandalism, fire, flood, terrorism, or natural disasters.
- Power surges causing disruption or delivering excess power to the machine.
- 'Salting of machines': This occurs when salt water is poured or injected into coin chutes or validators to cheat the machine, which ruins the components. This is classified as an act of vandalism and is completely excluded.
- Any machine that has had its serial number plate defaced or removed.
If the machine sent to you is damaged in shipment, please note the damage on the Bill of Lading and have the driver sign it.
Shipping damage is very rare (occurring in less than 2% of items shipped with our top carriers) and is usually minor. Broken glass on snack machines or bent legs is minor and easy to repair—do not refuse the machine for minor damage. The freight company will typically make a quick payment for minor repairs.
Freight is booked as a courtesy, and we never assume responsibility for the actions of the freight company regarding damage, missing items, or storage charges. All freight charges are final and non-refundable. To report a freight claim, call the carrier directly using the phone number found on your shipment confirmation email.
Flat Rate Repairs: We offer a flat rate repair or replacement program for many common items such as validators, changers, and logic boards after your warranty expires. Contact us for current repair pricing.
Why We Do Not Offer Extended Warranties: Many customers ask about extended warranties. We choose not to offer them because most pinball and vending machine repairs are minor and not expensive in origin. Some competitors charge up to $500 for a two-year extended warranty, which terms often reveal as uncost-effective or restrictive (such as requiring you to ship the entire heavy machine back to them at your own cost for basic service).
Common issues like coin mech and validator repairs usually cost between $95 to $149 for flat rate repair when sent to our facility. You will almost always come out ahead financially by simply servicing your machine as needed rather than paying upfront for an expensive extended warranty that rarely covers everything anyway.
